Matthew Tice

Matthew Tice is the Chief Executive Officer of Insurgence Group, a global management consulting firm that specializes in guiding organizations through disruptive change. Insurgence operates at the intersection of strategy, innovation, and leadership, helping clients identify new market pathways and build disruptive business models to accelerate growth. Prior to this role, Tice served as Managing Director and founding Partner for Asia-Pacific at The Palladium Group.

He is a trusted advisor to boards and CEOs across the globe, recognized for his work in strategy design and execution, leadership development, governance, and innovation. Tice has worked with hundreds of organizations across six continents, including BHP Billiton, Toyota, HSBC, Canon, Pfizer, SAP, and various national governments. His industry expertise spans financial services, telecommunications, energy, healthcare, education, and the not-for-profit sector. He began his career as a Nuclear Engineer with the United States Navy and is an alumnus of the CEO Institute in Australia.

An accomplished speaker, author, and board member, Tice holds an MBA (with honours) from the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business and a BSc in Industrial and Operations Engineering from the University of Michigan. He is the author of Insurgence and co-author of Strategy Execution and Complexity. He currently chairs several organizations including ADHD Australia and Waterline Engineering and serves on advisory boards across AI, health-tech, green-tech, and ed-tech sectors.
