Position Overview
The Event Marketing Intern will support brand execution, sponsor activations, and on-site event presentation for the Collegiate Rugby Championship National 7s. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role perfect for students pursuing careers in sports marketing, communications, or event production.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with event signage setup and branding placement
- Support sponsor activations in-stadium and in fan zones
- Assist with trophy setup and award presentations
- Proofread social media posts, blog content, and marketing emails
- Coordinate media contacts and credential tracking
- Support oversight of:
- Merchandise booth operations
- Stadium production
- Streaming production
- Digital asset organization
- Provide general marketing and on-site execution support
Qualifications
- In driving distance of Boyds, MD
- Strong attention to detail (especially proofreading)
- Ability to multitask in a live-event environment
- Interest in sports marketing and brand activation
- Comfortable working both behind the scenes and in front-facing roles
- Available on-site beginning Thursday, April 23
