National Collegiate Rugby today announced that membership dues will remain unchanged for the 2026-2027 season, reinforcing the organization’s commitment to member value and continued investment in the student-athlete experience.

Following a year of continued growth across the 2025-2026 season, including increases in participating clubs, expanded partnerships, and the successful execution of national events, NCR is able to maintain flat membership fees while continuing to enhance the services and opportunities provided to players, coaches, and teams nationwide.

“Our priority is to deliver more value to our members every year,” said CEO, Jeremy Treece. “Holding dues steady while expanding our offerings reflects both the strength of our organization and our commitment to supporting the college rugby community.”

The decision to hold dues steady is supported by NCR’s broader financial strategy to diversify revenue streams beyond membership fees. By expanding areas such as streaming licensing, event ticket sales, and sponsorships, NCR is building a more sustainable model that allows for reinvestment into the sport.

As part of this continued investment, NCR is expanding its broadcast coverage for regional competitions, with all regional matches set to be available on NCR TV. Increased investment in production quality will elevate both the player and fan experience, providing greater visibility for teams across the country.

NCR is also increasing its focus on digital growth and content development, with planned investments aimed at strengthening its online presence and engagement. These efforts are designed to grow the sport, attract new audiences, and better support existing members through enhanced communication and content.

In addition, members will see continued improvements to NCR’s registration and membership platform in the coming year. Updates will streamline administrative processes and improve the overall user experience for teams and administrators.

Currently serving more than 20,000 student-athletes, coaches, and administrators, NCR continues to play a leading role in the growth of college rugby in the United States. Its scale provides members with access to national competition pathways, increased exposure, and a strong network of resources and support.

NCR will continue to support grassroots development through initiatives such as the Emerging Team Grants and Post-Season Tournament Grants. In the current season 46 teams were awarded Emerging Team grants and 7 post-season tournaments provided opportunities for non-playoff teams.

NCR’s Men’s and Women’s All Stars programs will also see ongoing enhancements, ensuring top student-athletes have access to elite development and competition opportunities.
