The final bids in the Men’s Division I and Division I-AA national quarterfinals have been claimed, with recent national champions St. Bonaventure and Kentucky winning their respective play-in games Sunday.

In snowy Allegany, NY, the Bonnies welcomed Southern Nazarene to the DI postseason with a 44-17 defeat. The hosts raced out to a 34-0 halftime lead before letting the Crimson Storm on the board.

For SNU, Sunday marked the program’s first-ever playoff bid, and they rallied with three second-half tries. Center Connor Malau’ulu was a go-forward machine all day for the Crimson Storm all day, and No. 8 Elijah Segovia had some standout moments.

The win sees the Bonnies face old postseason foe Brown in the quarterfinals. The Bears bounced St. Bonaventure in the semifinals last season, and the Bonnies knocked them out of the playoffs the year before.

In Lexington, KY, the Wildcats put Southern Conference champion UNC-Charlotte to the sword, 79-0, keeping threepeat hopes alive. Kentucky draws Lone Star champion Texas A&M in the quarterfinals Saturday in Atlanta.
