Following our recent announcement about the strategic staff realignments and expansion of Men's and Women's Director roles, NCR is pleased to announce that Brad Dufek will continue as Director of Men’s Rugby, now in a full-time capacity. The expanded role will now oversee 7s competitions, serve as the commissioner for all four divisions, lead club development, and support over 350 clubs across men’s rugby.

Brad Dufek has overseen the men's competition since 2020, guiding the men’s game through a dynamic period of growth. Under his leadership, NCR has expanded competition offerings across all divisions, strengthened operational infrastructure, and deepened its connection with member institutions nationwide.

In addition to his work with NCR, Brad brings a decade of experience across collegiate, nonprofit, and high-performance rugby settings. As the part-time Executive Director of Madison United Rugby, he oversees a large and diverse membership, managing facilities, programming, and community engagement across South Central Wisconsin.

Brad’s coaching background includes impactful tenures at both Quinnipiac University’s NCAA women’s program, where he was part of three NIRA national championships, and Yale University’s men’s team, where he helped elevate their Ivy League and Liberty Conference performances.

Jeremy Treece, CEO, said of the decision, “Brad has demonstrated a consistent ability to build sustainable programs, foster partnerships, and deliver results that reflect the values and ambition of NCR. His unique experience in both club and varsity rugby, brings valuable insight to this next chapter.”

The transition to full-time Director roles reflects NCR’s commitment to delivering high-quality, year-round support for our member teams. NCR plans to announce the Women’s Director in the coming days.
