
Endicott opens the weekend with a bang in their 43-15 win over East Stroudsburg on Saturday, December 6, earning their advance to the Division III final in Houston.

The match’s first 20 minutes went back and forth, with Endicott center Laryssa Landmesser scoring the first try to lead 5-0. Flanker Kaila Bartolotti and wing Colleen Mitchell followed suit shortly after with tries of their own, bringing the score to 15-0.
East Stroudsburg center Tara Bogansky put the Warriors on the board in the 35th minute, successfully evading multiple tackle attempts and scoring the team’s first try of the match. Endicott closed out the first half at 22-5, with a sneaky try by flanker Laila Baer and the match’s first successful conversion by fellow flanker Caitlin Padeck.
The second half opened up strongly with an almost immediate try from East Stroudsburg, a great team effort from prop Julia Nilsen and second row Kierra Serb, increasing the score to 22-10.

Endicott retaliated with three more tries of their own by prop Chloe Marconi, number 8 Marin Shaffer, and prop Alyssa Mellin. The Gulls followed up with conversions from flanker Caitlin Padeck to make the score 43-10.
Center Tara Bogansky closed out the game with East Stroudsburg’s last try of the match, ending the game 43-15 and landing the team a chance at third place Sunday, December 7 at 11 a.m. EST Endicott will compete for the championship on Sunday, December 7 at 11:30 a.m. EST.
