National Collegiate Rugby’s summer high performance tours continue this month as the NCR Men’s All Americans prepare to face Ballynahinch Rugby Club from Northern Ireland. Representing the top collegiate talent in the United States, the All Americans will train in Boston from June 14–21, culminating in an international fixture.
The All American players arrive in Boston this Saturday, June 14 for a week-long training camp. As part of their preparation, the squad will take on the New England Free Jacks Academy in a friendly scrimmage on June 17. The tour’s headline fixture against Ballynahinch RFC will take place on Saturday, June 21, at Veterans Memorial Stadium in Quincy, MA.
Ballynahinch “Hinch” Rugby Club is one of the top senior sides in Europe, and based in Ballynahinch, Northern Ireland. The team was recently crowned champions in the Bank of Ireland Senior Cup after defeating the defending champion 50-3.
If the New England Free Jacks host the MLR Eastern Conference Final that day at 1:00 PM EST, the All Americans match will kick off immediately afterward. If not, the All Americans will take the field at 1:00 PM EST.
