National Collegiate Rugby is proud to announce the men’s and women’s select team rosters heading to the Algarve 7s tournament in Portugal, June 4-9. Representing the top collegiate talent in the country, these standout athletes have earned their spots through exceptional performances at the 2025 National 7s Championships, XV’s National Championships, All Star Tournaments, and regular season play.
On the women’s side Kelly Greenleaf (Towson University) was named to the National 7s DII All Tournament Team. From Division I, Bailey Barton (Purdue), Kourtney Bichotte-Dunner (Northeastern), Mia Blocher (Notre Dame), and Morgan Linck (Northern Iowa) were all named to the All Tournament Team. Blocher, a first-year standout, led all DI scorers with eight tries and 40 points over four games.
The men’s side features a great mix of experience with Premier Cup All Tournament Team selection Raphael Lansonneur (Brown) as well as former USA U23s player Aidan Smith and former U20s player Parker Wall. Aidan Smith and Sennen Grovel also represented NCR in the 2024 France All American tour. Ryan Cammarata brings tremendous domestic 7s experience, playing for the Nav 7s men’s club, three time USA club National Champions.
Both teams bring a combination of veterans and rising stars, poised to represent NCR on the international stage. The teams are also the first to wear the title of Griffin, the new mascot introduced to represent NCR High Performance teams. The Algarve 7s promises elite competition, and the Griffins are ready to test themselves against some of the best 7s programs in the world.
